Multimedia Campaign

The information dissemination strategies in the community have different challenges, depending on our capacity to access the target audience, the targeted area and the type of media required. Each region has its own characteristics of geography, social and cultural characteristics which will affect the reach of mass media and the impact it has on local indigenous communities. Accurately selecting the type of media for specific communities and age groups is highly important. In turn it will maximize the ability to achieve the strategic objectives planned for the campaign.

IDEP Media designs multimedia campaigns, which are practical, economic and effective. They are made in highly graphic formats (more pictures and fewer words) and appropriate for low literacy environments as well. In making our media campaigns we always try to adapt it to the local culture in each area, and to empower the local potential to add value to a media campaign.

IDEP Media has experience in conducting campaigns in the community, whether small or large scale. IDEP Media can create a media campaign with the high quality, such as ad creation TV/radio, posters, banners, brochures, interactive media, community and competition event.

Some of our multimedia campaign programs:

- Rumah Aman Gempa Program, January 2010 - June 2012, West Sumatera, Indonesia. The Australian-Indonesian for Disaster Reduction, Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB), MercyCorps. This program aims to increase community's awareness about the risks and impacts of earthquakes and to encourage communities to build earthquake safe houses.

- Not for Sale Campaign, 2007 up to now, Nusa Ceningan, Bali, Indonesia. SPACE, Solidaritas Aksi Pendukung Ceningan (a coalition of individual and organization under the direction of Nusa Ceningan's community). This campaign helps the struggle of Nusa Ceningan's community to reclaim rights to public land.
