Replication of Sustainable Livelihood Model Through Integrated Agriculture and Renewable Energy in Bali

Jembrana, (2/5) – In 3rd week of April 2016, IDEP team conducted an Introduction to Permaculture training for beneficiaries in Yeh Embang, Negara. This training is a 6-days workshop covers the ethics, principles and basic practices of Permaculture for sustainable development. The main activities on the training are including making garden design, Soil Rehabilitation, Composting, Pest Control Management and Seed Saving.

Supported by Boeing for IDEP to community accompaniment within 1-year period in Replication of Sustainable Livelihood Model Through Integrated Agriculture and Renewable Energy in Bali, 10 selected beneficiaries were very enthusiast to join and practice on the training; they have done their own design for the garden during the training.
This training also included assisting all the beneficiaries set up their garden and ready to be planting in next month after they done all the soil rehabilitation process.
