Waste Management Education

IDEP focuses on educating Balinese school children on hygiene and gaining awareness regarding their school's compound and environment. If you notice waste issues in a school nearby you, please contact our team for information on how to assist the students!.

A few of the key activities taught in this program are:

• Waste separation: Methods of disposing non-organic waste (plastic, glass, etc) and organic waste
• Composting: Using composting containers, the students learn to make compost with organic waste and to use this compost in their school garden
• Paper recycling: Ways to recycle and reuse unused paper from the student's books and scraps
